Level 2/3 Nursery Practitioner

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and energetic qualified Nursery Practitioner, who embraces outdoor learning, to join our friendly team here at Gosfield Nursery. Gosfield Nursery is based within Gosfield School, a co-educational independent school that caters for children from 2 to 18 years old.

 

The job role will require the candidate to drink pretend cups of tea, to fully anticipate going home covered in paint, glitter and mud, to be able to give reasons as to “why” anything and everything happens and to remember the words to every nursery rhyme possible. We are looking for someone with a huge heart who wants to ensure every child knows how special and important they are to our Gosfield family.

 

Gosfield Nursery is a term-time setting, with opening hours of 8am until 5pm. This role can be part time or full time, Monday to Friday.

 

Start date 1st September 2026 but this can be flexible for the right candidate.

Learning Support Assistant - full time, term time only

We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant ready to make a real difference, supporting the growth and achievement of our students. Gosfield is a small family School with high expectations of students. We are situated in a gorgeous green environment, where everyone is treated with warm respect and where everyone strives to reach and exceed their personal best.
This position will be supporting mainly in the Senior School. You will support the teaching staff to deliver quality provision in the classroom, lead teaching activities and interventions with individuals and develop and produce teaching and learning materials when required. This position is full time spread over 5 days, 8am to 4pm, 3 days per week and 8am to 5pm 2 days per week with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break and 10 minutes unpaid break, term time only. We wish to appoint for a September 2026 start.

£13.41 per hour – 38 hours per week TTO.

Cleaner

15 hours per week, Monday to Friday term time, either 5pm to 8pm or 5am to 8am. Occasional extra hours for events and holiday cleaning. 

The caretakers and cleaning team as a whole are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.  We are looking for an additional cleaner who will take pride in meeting the frequency and cleanliness standards set out. Each cleaner is responsible for an area of the School, reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor but you may also be required to cover cleaning duties across other areas of the school, for cover purposes.  Full training will be provided.   

There will be the opportunity to assist with special functions at the school which may be outside of normal working hours.
