Teacher of Science - Full Time

With the recent significant growth in pupil numbers, we are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Chemist [Biologists and Physicists will also be considered].  You will have the ability to teach general science and be ready to make a real difference to all our students. 

Gosfield is a small family School where you are free to teach and innovate in a gorgeous green environment, where everyone is treated with warm respect and where all strive to reach and exceed their personal best.

We wish to appoint for Easter 2024. The successful candidate will teach throughout the age and ability range, including to A Level. All teachers at Gosfield are expected to contribute to the co-curricular programme, and we would particularly like to hear from you if you have an interesting skill or talent that you could offer our students.

Level 3 Lead Practitioner - Full time

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and energetic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, who embraces outdoor learning, to join our friendly and eager team here at the award winning Gosfield Nursery as a Lead Practitioner. Gosfield Nursery is based within Gosfield School, a co-educational independent school that caters for children from 2 to 18 years old.  

The job role will require the candidate to drink pretend cups of tea, to fully anticipate going home covered in paint, glitter and mud, to be able to give reasons as to “why” anything and everything happens and to remember the words to every nursery rhyme possible. We are looking for someone with a huge heart who wants to ensure every child knows how special and important they are to our Gosfield family.  

Gosfield Nursery is a term-time setting, with opening hours of 8am until 5pm. This position is for four days (34 hours) per week with flexibility required to meet the needs of the nursery.  

Start date ASAP but this can be flexible for the right candidate.

Head of Modern Foreign Languages - Full Time

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Head of Modern Foreign Languages with the ability to teach Spanish and French to KS4 and either / both to A level. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing middle leader or an exceptional classroom practitioner to lead our successful MFL Department. We are committed to providing the highest academic standards which challenge pupils to achieve their very best whilst ensuring a school ethos that is caring and positive. We welcome applications from all qualified MFL specialists that can demonstrate high levels of pedagogy and innovation with a track record of success at GCSE and A level. The successful candidate will be well-qualified and willing to play a part in the wider life of the school.
