GOSFIELD School has hosted a prestigious musical theatre competition at its arts centre.
The ISA Musical Theatre Final is run by the Independent Schools Association for musical theatre performances.
The competition is open to students from Year 5 to Year 13.
This year’s event was hosted by Gosfield School in its JW Performing Arts Centre.
The competition was attended by performers from a number of independent schools.
Over 200 performers entered the competition, and 36 made it through to the final round.
The event showcased a wide range of performances, from Disney songs, such as The Little Mermaid, to classics including Les Misérables and The Phantom of the Opera.
A school spokesman said: “The day was a fantastic celebration of creativity, music and drama.
“With talented students from Year 5 to Year 13, this is proof that the future of musical theatre is in great hands.”
