Current Vacancies

Cleaner Required – Part time

15 hours per week, Monday to Friday term time. Occasional extra hours for events and holiday cleaning.

The caretakers and cleaning team as a whole are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school. Each cleaner will be responsible for an area and will be expected to clean to the frequency and standard set out, at the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor and Estates Manager, cleaning staff will clean other areas as required.

Learning Support Assistant

Hours: Between 8.15am – 4pm (to be negotiated)

Salary: Between £9.55 and £9.94 (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Contract term: Permanent, subject to successful probation period

We are looking for an experienced LSA ready to make a real difference, supporting the growth and achievement of all of our pupils. Gosfield is a small family School where you will be free to work and innovate in our gorgeous green environment, where everyone is treated with warm respect and where everyone strives to reach and exceed their personal best.

Based predominately in the Prep School, you will support the teaching staff to deliver quality provision in the classroom, lead teaching activities and interventions with groups and individuals and develop and produce teaching and learning materials when required.

A secure knowledge of phonics, in particular, Read Write Inc will be an advantage.

This post could also involve responsibilities for supporting children and teaching classes when the need arises if a candidate has the necessary skills.
