Principal Rod Jackson expressed his delight at the accomplishments of Gosfield School’s students. “I am incredibly proud of our students’ GCSE results this year,” he remarked. “Their achievements are a testament to their commitment and the exceptional support provided by our teachers. These results reflect the pupils’ hard work, diligence and ambition. At GCSE the most significant metric for a school like ours is ‘Value Added’ – this measures the progress our students make.  I am delighted that our 2025 cohort achieved the best ‘Value Added’ score of any GCSE group [excluding the COVID affected years] in many years.”

The results achieved by Gosfield School’s students highlight the school’s commitment to delivering a well-rounded education that fosters intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and personal development. The school’s holistic approach nurtures each student’s individual strengths, allowing them to thrive academically and reach their full potential.

Gosfield School’s students have excelled across a diverse range of subjects. Notably 57% of Triple Award Biology grades were in the top 7-9 grade range and 43% of Triple Award Chemistry were 7-9s; 38% of Triple Award Physics grades were 7-9s 41% of Geography grades were 7-9s; 50% of Food Technology grades were 7-9s.

The success of Gosfield School’s students would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication and expertise of the school’s teaching staff. Principal Rod Jackson expressed his gratitude, saying, “I would like to extend my appreciation to our exceptional teachers, whose tireless efforts have played a crucial role in guiding our students towards this remarkable achievement. Their unwavering commitment to academic excellence has made a significant impact on our students’ educational journey.”

Parents have also praised the support their children received. One student’s parents commented, “We are over the moon with her results as she has worked so hard. Gosfield has been very supportive all the way from Year 7 to results day. We are all looking forward to her starting at Gosfield’s Sixth Form in September to study Maths, Biology, Chemistry and History.”

Gosfield School’s GCSE results continue to exemplify the school’s commitment to academic excellence, individual development, and fostering a lifelong passion for learning. The school remains dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that empowers students to achieve their aspirations and prepares them for future success.
