Introduction to Goslings Nursery

Our purpose-built nursery rooms and outside area are located in Meadow Court and the setting is supported by the same robust learning structure as the rest of our Prep School with a high staff-to-child ratio. This allows children from the age of 3 years, the opportunity to experience the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and to take advantage of teacher-led planning and expertise.

Goslings Nursery is set in 110 acres of mature parkland and forest, giving pupils the earliest opportunity to explore, discover and collaborate with each other on a daily basis. Joining Goslings Nursery also provides families with priority admission to our Reception class, and reduced fees through to our Prep school via our Nursery Loyalty Discount Bursary scheme.

Introduction to Reception and Prep

At Gosfield School we believe pupils thrive in a happy environment in which they feel challenged and secure. We offer a rich and vibrant curriculum across Early Years Foundation Stage through to Year 6 with age-appropriate specialist teachers and lessons, as follows:

Year 1 – 6: Spanish, Computing, PE, Drama and Music 
Year 3-6: Additional 11+ prep lessons as well as an afterschool lesson and homework
Year 3-6: Food Tech, Design Tech and Spanish by teachers who teach across the school 

Joining Goslings Reception also provides families with priority admission to our Prep School, and reduced fees via our Bursary scheme.
