It has been a very long time without face to face education for too many of our children, and a long time without anything approaching normal for all pupils. No-one is pretending that what we propose to offer from September will be normal in the old sense, but it is so important that we do all we can to offer the best experience for our pupils, and the safest one too – both for them and all our staff. It’s important for their wellbeing, their health and their development academically and emotionally. Of course, it’s also important because attendance at School for all pupils is mandatory from this September, as you can read about further in the attached documents, and in the Government’s own guidance.
In the below ‘Headlines’ document you’ll be able to read about the key items which are important for you and your child to know before returning to School in September. The Risk Assessment, also attached, provides more detailed information about all aspects of our plans to re-open and keep everyone safe.
