BBC Essex presenters Ben and Sonia visited Mr Tyrrell and a few students on Tuesday to interview them for their weekly feature ‘BenSon’s Science Club’ to be broadcast on the BBC Essex breakfast show.

Their focus with this feature is on schools and science clubs in Essex and the younger generation’s passion for STEM education. It’s all part of their media partnership with Essex 2020 – A Year of Science and Creativity.

They had a brief chat with Riley, Niamh and Abi from Year 10 and Freddie, George and Rupert from Year 7 about what inspires them about Science, what projects they’re working on and how science has perhaps influenced their career choices.
