We welcome children from the age of two into our Nursery with many staying with us throughout their school life, leaving us as young adults with excellent A-Level results at the age of 18.
The maximum entry into each class group is 20. Prep is single form entry and our Senior School is two form entry. Pupils are admitted to the school in strict chronological order of receipt of acceptance from and refundable deposit following a successful Guest Pupil Day. Siblings are currently given priority.
Visiting The School
We are privileged to have the most outstanding facilities in our 100 acre parkland setting. Few through schools can match what we offer at Gosfield. You can visit us at any time to see some of the many exciting changes that are continuing to take place as we strive to ensure the consistently high quality of our education experience.
Contact our Registrar to organise a visit.
Register Your Interest
If you are considering Gosfield School we would recommend that you register for a place as soon as possible. We will continue to focus on keeping class sizes small so that we maintain our high academic standards. Registering with us ensures that we keep in touch with you about potential class sizes. We would strongly recommend that you check availability for your preferred Year Group prior to making a registration as some Year Groups are currently at capacity. Please contact the Registrar to check availability.

Guest Pupil Day
We are a non-selective school so your child will not be required to sit an entrance exam before being offered a place. A Guest Pupil Day is an opportunity for them to spend the day with us and see how they fit both socially and academically. Guest Pupil Days can be organised for any day of the week. We try to arrange these for days when children can experience their preferred subjects so please do let us know which lessons they enjoy.
There are several Open Mornings through-out the academic year. These provide the opportunity to visit the school, meet with and talk to the staff, governors and children of the school, visit classes and participate in the variety of activities taking place.
Partnership with Parents
We firmly believe that a successful education is based upon very strong and positive relationships with parents.
We encourage parents to talk to us about their children whenever necessary and we very much appreciate the support our parents offer. We request that parents and students jointly commit to a ‘Home School Partnership’ with the school.
