I am a huge fan of modern art and recently caught a programme on television in which there was a preview David Hockney’s latest art exhibition which is a blaze of colours. It invokes such a warm feeling as the same landscape is portrayed throughout the seasons.  The same feeling has been created by the work on display throughout the school.  The Pre Prep have made and decorated Chinese lanterns, painted houses and made collages.   Year 3 have been making and painting Greek pots. Year 5 and 6 have been using tissue paper to create a translucent effect for their watery river scenes.  The corridor near the dining Hall has an amazing dragon on it which has been produced by our Year 7 and it is wonderful to see their work as they have moved into the senior part of the school.  On dull mornings it is lovely to see the colours and work displayed by our pupils.
