Prep School Activity Week

In the Prep school our pupils will spend activity week on a variety of tasks exploring their local area and challenging themselves to try activities they may not have had the opportunity to do before.

The emphasis is on practical tasks and having fun!

Some of the activities include:

wall climbing
making camp fires
pond dipping
farm and zoo visits
arts and crafts
cooking
swimming

Traditionally Years 5 and 6 go on a residential trip from Monday to Friday of activity week.  Here they take part in team games and undertake problem solving activities and physical challenges - they might use a trapeze, swim in a lake, rescue survivors from a plane crash and camp in their own shelters.  Anything is possible, but as Ellie from Year 6 says, they will come back feeling it was

‘..the best time of my life’.
