10th FEBRUARY 2012
The grounds of Gosfield have been magnificent this week with all the snow. Hopefully we got the balance right between letting the children enjoy the snow and keeping them warm and dry. Thanks to both staff and parents, we were able to remain open, unlike several schools in the county. Although lessons ran as usual throughout the day, break time was very different, as pupils took to the snow to build snowmen or take part in snowballing! With any luck, when we return from Half Term, spring will have arrived.
MATCH REPORTS
Unfortunately all matches this week were cancelled due to the snow.
To find match reports on our website, please go to the sports fixture page under the ‘Parents’ tab and you will find a link at the end of each fixture which directs you to the report.
We will be holding our Open Mornings on Saturday 3rd March, 10am – 1pm, and on Saturday 28th April, 10am – 1pm. Parents are very welcome to attend, as the days will provide superb chances to see the school in action.
PUPIL ACHIEVEMENTS
Congratulations to Alex Harris who was in Verbier last weekend competing in an international ski cross race. He was one of only three British boys competing.
