Senior School Reporting Descriptors
All pupils sit internal school examinations once a year, the results of which are reported to parents either within the main school report or on an Examination Grade Card. For Years 6, 9, 11 and 13 they will in addition sit mock examinations in January.
The following external examinations are compulsory within the school:
| Key Stage 1 National Curriculum Tests | Year 2 |
| Key Stage 2 National Curriculum Tests | Year 6 |
| GCSE Examinations | Year 11 |
| AS/A Level Examinations | Years 12 and 13 |
The 11+ examination is not compulsory but the school supports pupils and parents who wish to take the examination.
In addition, all pupils will at some stage sit a diagnostic test, which enables us to support pupils in achieving their full potential.
The cost of external GCSE and AS/A level examinations will be invoiced to parents on entry to the examinations. There is no additional cost for Key Stage tests.
