boarding school for ages 4-18
A good turnout at the Fogs Salsa evening last Saturday ensured a good evening was had by all. A quick class in the basics to start with went down well and broke the ice quite quickly. The men were separated from the women and the two groups faced one another whilst learning and practising their respective moves. A few more nibbles and glasses of wine later, and once everyone felt confident enough, the men and women finally mixed together and formed a Rueda (circle in Spanish) where they were taught how to switch partners, ensuring that everyone had a chance to dance with someone. During the break, a demonstration of a traditional Cuban Rueda was well received. With several people asking when the next Salsa evening was going to be, it is fair to say that a good evening was had by all.
