A big well done to all the junior school pupils; who took in the regional rounds of the ISA Athletics Competition. Gosfield were among 15 other Independent schools from the area competing for regional titles and places at the National Athletics final. It was a fantastic action packed day and the standard of competition was phenomenal with Gosfield achieving some amazing results.
A selection of pupils gained medals in a number of events; Congratulations to; Sophie Lebecq for gaining a bronze medal in both the long jump and the 600m. The year 5 relay team; Jasmine Doyle, Philippa Allen, Sophie Lebecq and Isabelle Woko who got bronze in the 4 by 100m relay race. Huge congratulations to; Isabelle Woko who got gold in the 75m sprint and gold in the high jump. Isabelle has also qualified in both these events and the Year 5 Relay Team for the National finals at Bedford on Wednesday 23rd June. Well done Isabelle!!!! Another highlight of the day was retaining the year 5 girl’s regional ISA title. A fantastic achievement. Well done girls!!!! Another well done to all those involved it was brilliant day and you should all be very proud of your achievements. |
