Location

Gosfield School is situated 1km North-East of Gosfield village on the Halstead Road, which links Gosfield with the town of Halstead.

The school is approximately 15 minutes form Braintree, 5 minutes from Halstead, 40 minutes from Cambridge, 25 minutes from Colchester, 25 minutes from Chelmsford and 40 minutes from the M11 at Stansted.

Directions

From Cambridge

A1307 through Sible Hedingham. Keep straight on when the A1307 turns left for Halstead. After approximately 2 miles take the A131. Enter Gosfield Village and Halstead Road is the first on the left. Gosfield School is half a mile along on the left hand side.

From Sudbury

Take the A131 into Halstead, travelling down the High Street. Follow the road round, taking the second right (Chapel Hill; Holy Trinity Church stands on the corner). Gosfield School is just over a mile along this road on the right.

From Colchester

Take the A1124 to Halstead, travelling down the High Street. Follow the road round, taking the second right (Chapel Hill; Holy Trinity Church stands on the corner). Gosfield School is just over a mile along this road on the right.

From Chelmsford

Head for the Braintree by-pass then follow the signs for Cambridge. This will bring you into Gosfield Village. Drive through the village and take the first right, about 150 yards past the Kings Head. This is Halstead Road.

From Stansted Airport

Take the A120 exit to Braintree then follow the signs for Cambridge. This will bring you into Gosfield Village. Drive through the village and take the first right about 150 yards past the Kings Head. This is Halstead Road.
