Daily and weekend activities

There is a wide choice of in-school activities, both at lunchtime and during the afternoon activity slot. In addition, a full programme of weekend activities organised mostly for, but not exclusively to, the full-time boarders.

Activity Week

Every year there is an activity week where the whole school comes off timetable and works ‘outside the box!’ From Reception Class to Sixth Form everyone has the opportunity to learn outside the classroom, whether they remain at school, where they follow a programme of organised activities, or travel further afield. Students have seen a vast variety of experiences and different cultures over the years, they have travelled far and wide, including many European destinations such as Lake Garda, The Ardeche, horse riding in the Greek Isles, and water sports in France, to name a few. In 2009 a group of ‘Gosfieldians’ went on expedition to Borneo, a truly life changing experience.
